About AEJMC

Share

The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) is a nonprofit, educational association of journalism and mass communication educators, students and media professionals. The Association’s mission is to advance education, foster scholarly research, cultivate better professional practice and promote the free flow of communication.

About AEJMC Conferences

AEJMC holds an annual conference in August that features sessions and panels on the latest research, teaching methods and public service in the various components of journalism and mass communication. Pre-conference workshops deal with a variety of topics that range from teaching and media ethics issues to incorporating diversity in the curriculum, and media management issues.

AEJMC conferences are regularly attended by journalism and mass communication administrators, educators, and researchers; well-known authors and publishers of communication texts; companies and organizations tracking emerging trends in higher education; social media professionals and internet and technology professionals; and practitioners.
